This is a chain set of 24 cvc* three letter words that change one letter at a time, for example: ‘cat’ becomes ‘bat’ and ‘bat’ becomes ‘bet’ and so on forming a word chain that enables you to play a variety of games which will help your child to learn blending skills. 

This set includes:

• 24 three letter words that create a word chain.
• 24 flash cards – print on 3 A4 sheets of card and cut out individually. 
• A full word chain list and instructions for the blending game using sound and tokens.
• 5 flash card game ideas to play with 1 or more players. 

All games should be played with the help of an experienced reader, either an adult or an older child. 

*A CVC word is a single syllable three-phoneme (sound) word that follows the pattern of consonant, vowel, consonant. 

Easy to print - set to print on full page. Use heavy card stock for the flash cards and laminate if preferred.
