A ‘Stitch Across Time’ design – from Latch Farm Studios. 

Reproducing antique and historical sampler design stitches and motifs to make new modern cross stitch patterns for you to enjoy stitching today.

This is an excellent project for beginners or experienced stitchers using only full cross stitches and will look beautiful stitched in one single colour such as a red or black sampler or in several colours. There is a colourway included and a blank 'pick 6 colours' key for you to use your own colour choices.

This sampler can be stitched on linen or Aida and is suitable for all levels of ability.

Stitching instructions

Always work your top stitches in the same direction for the whole project. 

Strands = embroidery floss.    

Threads = threads of fabric, linen etc. 

This design is 117 stitches wide x 117 stitches tall. The finished size is 8.4" x 8.4" (21.2 cm x 21.2 cm) when stitched over 2 threads on 28 count Evenweave linen or 14 count Aida. (The pattern details sizes if a different count material is used).

The stitched example is on 28 count linen using hand dyed silks from AMOYARN. The colourway included are close matches from DMC.
