A cute modern family tree pattern to cross stitch and personalise with sweet fluffy birds to stitch for yourself, family or friends.
These lovely little fluffy birds are full of character and are designed by me for you with a smile :) They make a great cross stitch craft project. Full of cheeky fun and given as a gift they are sure to be a hit with family and friends of all ages, be ready for requests to stitch more :) Designed for 2 parent birds, 4 children or baby birds but there is flexibility to alter the design if required. A lovely gift for an anniversary, wedding or to welcome a new baby (perhaps with a gap for a future brother or sister).

If you are new to cross stitching, I have included a PDF help sheet for you to download to cover all the basics that will help you to follow my charts and create your own personalised works of art.

All my charts / patterns use full cross stitches, fractional stitches to add more detail or smooth edges, and long stitches to add my own signature details such as bird fluff, also for outlining parts of the design and adding metallic highlights.

It includes a PDF for the family tree which includes a full page colour chart with colour symbols, also a chart across four pages with colour symbols, a thread legend (I use DMC floss thread colours) and a large colour photograph of the finished project for reference.
There is a bird family chart showing 6 versions of birds - parents, children and baby birds.
There is an instruction sheet which includes 4 alphabets with numbers (2 cross stitch sizes and 2 long stitch sizes) and 1 blank sheet to help you design your names and lettering.
There is also my help sheet PDF with everything you need to help you get started on your project.

The finished size of this design is 150 stitches wide x 200 stitches tall. The finished size is 10.5" x 13.5" (26.67cm x 33.02cm) when stitched on 14 count Aida (or 28 count Evenweave).
The example family shown in the photograph above are framed in a 10inch (25cm) wooden hoop. (If you choose a different fabric count or adjust the pattern your finished project size will vary).

You are not buying the completed project, only the PDF chart.
